She does gets jealous and somewhat possessive though, and still keeps up their rivalry, but she’s very aware of his compassionate nature and really admires him. But seeing that she’s a tsundere who at first is in denial of her feelings and later becomes too shy to admit how she feels, she won’t admit it. At first it’s because she thinks she just wants to get even and develops a one-sided rivalry with him, but then she becomes fascinated with his ability to neutralize magic, and then she becomes aware of her feelings. They don’t start out on the best of terms with Touma accidentally getting on her bad side, but she quickly takes an interest in him. The two of the have a great, humorous, and very compatible relationship.
